Samsung has introduced a kids-focused version of its Galaxy Tab A11+, giving families a package built around protection, parental controls, and personalization rather than just the tablet itself. The new Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is essentially a Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab A11+ that comes bundled with software tools for parents and several child-friendly extras.
As reported by GSMArena, the biggest additions are the protective foam case and the included Crayo-Pen stylus. The case is designed to help guard against drops, and it also works as both a kickstand and a carrying handle, which should make the tablet easier for kids to use around the house or on the go. Samsung is also including stickers so children can personalize the device.
On the software side, Samsung is bundling in the Samsung Kids app and parental controls that let adults manage screen time and control access to apps and content. This version also comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, so buyers are getting a specific higher-capacity configuration rather than a stripped-down model.
The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is priced at $350 in the US. That makes it $150 more expensive than the standard Galaxy Tab A11+ with the same 6GB/128GB setup, so the real question for parents is whether the bundled case, stylus, stickers, and kid-focused software tools are worth the added cost. For families who want a more ready-to-use tablet for younger children, Samsung is clearly betting that the convenience package will be the main selling point.
