Sprint is releasing the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G real soon.
Earlier today, Sprint revealed that it will be launching the much awaited 5G-enabled device on June 21st. Once you get your hands on the device, it will be able to access Sprint’s 5G network in areas such as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Kansas City. Soon after, five more cities are slated to get 5G network support. These cities include Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Washington, DC, and New York City. Apart from these cities, the Galaxy S10 5G can connect with any of Sprint’s 4G LTE networks. Unfortunately, it won’t be able to deliver 5G speeds.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is Sprint’s third 5G-connected device. It joins the likes of the LG V50 ThinQ and the HTC 5G hub, which have previously been released.
While the device won’t launch until June 21st, pre-orders are already open on Sprint’s website. It will be available to the general public, which is unlike AT&T’s strategy that limits availability of the device to business owners and developers.
