T-Mobile is kicking off a new campaign called “Do Not Disturb Season,” a promotion built around spending more time outdoors while still having the peace of mind of being connected when it matters. The carrier says the idea is to help people step away from daily distractions and enjoy America’s national parks, with its 5G network and T-Satellite service positioned as part of that experience.
As announced by T-Mobile, the company is also opening a sweepstakes that gives people a chance to win a four-day, three-night national park trip for two. The prize includes airfare, a Hilton stay near a U.S. national park, Hertz rental support through points, a year of AllTrails Peak, a year of AccuWeather Premium+, a $1,500 outdoor gear package, and a $2,000 donation to the National Park Foundation in the winner’s name. The sweepstakes is open through May 8, and T-Mobile says even non-customers can enter online or in participating retail stores.
T-Mobile is also tying the campaign to a bigger commitment, saying it will contribute up to $1 million to support the National Park Foundation. The company says that support will help the nonprofit continue its work protecting and preserving national parks for future generations.
To help promote the idea in person, T-Mobile and the National Park Foundation are bringing a “Magenta Base Camp” pop-up to Grand Central Terminal in New York City from April 14 through April 18. T-Mobile says the setup will give visitors a park-inspired break from city noise, while also offering another way to enter the sweepstakes.
On top of that, the carrier is highlighting extra travel-related perks for members, including a 15% discount across Hilton brands and complimentary Hertz Five Star status through December 31, 2027.
