As reported by Android Authority, T-Mobile is rolling out free MLB.TV access starting March 24 to most of its postpaid customers and qualifying Metro by T-Mobile subscribers. The redemption window is brief but generous: between March 24 and March 30, customers can claim their free access by opening the T-Life mobile app.
After that, they'll have unlimited streaming access to watch baseball games live or on-demand through the MLB app, which works across smartphones, tablets, and popular streaming platforms like Roku and Apple TV.
There's also good news for soccer fans. While T-Mobile has stepped back from directly offering free MLS access, Apple TV Plus subscribers now get all MLS games included with their subscription at no extra charge. T-Mobile customers who have the Apple TV Plus benefit through their carrier automatically gain access to these matches as well.
The combination of these entertainment benefits makes T-Mobile's service package more competitive, especially for sports fans who don't want to juggle multiple streaming subscriptions.
