In response to increasing customer churn, T-Mobile is set to introduce a new loyalty plan designed to retain subscribers considering leaving the network. The plan, which is expected to be announced on May 15, will be offered selectively to customers who indicate an intention to cancel their service.
The upcoming loyalty plan will be priced at $65 per month for a single line after the autopay discount, and $120 for two lines, with each additional line costing $12. While it offers a lower entry price point, the plan comes with certain limitations. It will not be eligible for promotions such as third free line offers, Buy One Get One (BOGO) deals, or insider discounts. Additionally, customers on this plan will be limited to a maximum of eight lines.
Despite these restrictions, the loyalty plan aims to provide enhanced trade-in values for device upgrades, potentially matching the incentives offered in T-Mobile's Experience More program. This could appeal to customers seeking better value in device upgrades.
