After months of delaying its launch date, US Mobile has finally rolled out a new service on AT&T’s network. Called Dark Star, the new service is celebrating its release with a bang– a Tesla Cybertruck giveaway.
Previously, US Mobile planned to call this service, the Death Star, but changed it at the last minute for unknown reasons. With this release, US Mobile now classifies itself as a “Super Carrier” since it now provides coverage across all three networks. It also has a Teleport feature, that allows subscribers to switch across carriers manually for as low as $0 per switch.
According to BestMVNO, US Mobile sells each of their plans with at least a couple of free Teleport allowances. Beyond that, customers get billed $2 per use. But they also have a $44 per month unlimited plan that includes Teleport at no extra cost.
The wireless carrier has an additional $4 per month fee that gives Dark Star priority data access, which they can use during times of network congestion. 5G devices on US Mobile’s Warp 5G plans come with priority data access by default. With the launch of the new Dark Star network, the wireless carrier is hosting a giveaway for a Tesla Cybertruck with 6 months of Unlimited Premium service. If you wish to join this giveaway, you’ll need to activate service on a paid plan before September 30, 2024. You’ll also need to keep an active plan until December 2, 2024.
