Verizon launches 5G in Boston, Houston, and Sioux Falls

Verizon is on a roll with its 5G service. 

Earlier today, it was revealed that Verizon will be launching its 5G service in three new cities. With this new addition, the total number of cities with Verizon 5G coverage is up to 18. 

The new cities include parts of Boston, Houston, and Sioux Falls. Specifically speaking, these are the areas where 5G coverage can be experienced:

Boston: Fenway, Brookline Avenue near Beth Israel Hospital, several university campuses

Houston: East Downtown, Uptown, Greenway Plaza, Museum District, Rice Village, and select major stadiums and malls

Sioux Falls: Levitt at the Falls, Orpheum Theatre, Washington Pavillion, State Theatre, and the US Federal Courthouse

Prior to today’s three additions, Verizon had launched its 5G service in other cities. Among the list include Dallas, Omaha, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Providence, St. Paul, Atlanta, Detroit, Indianapolis, Washington DC, Phoenix, Boise, Panama City, and New York City. Now that Verizon has 5G coverage in 18 cities, they are getting close to reaching their goal of covering 30 cities before the year ends. They have plans to launch the service in Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Des Moines, Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, San Diego, Salt Lake City, and many others.
