Now that the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has officially been launched in South Korea, a new report is showing that the device is headed to US shores.
According to a report from Bloomberg, pre-orders of the Galaxy S10 5G will start on April 18. And as reported before, Verizon will have early exclusivity on carrying the device. The device will go on sale on May 16. After its exclusivity, the phone will be carried by AT&T and other networks later in the year.
There are reports suggesting the device will cost over $1,000. However, there is still no official word on how much the Galaxy S10 5G will cost. Right now, Verizon is not also showing a release date for the Galaxy S10 5G on its product page. Instead, there is simply a form for interested individuals to enter their email so they can get a notification once the device is available.
Today’s report coincides with Verizon’s 5G network launch in two cities in the country. Earlier this week, Verizon quietly launched the network in Chicago and Minneapolis. The network intends to expand 5G coverage to 30 cities by the end of the year.
