After launching its 5G network in New York City, Verizon has expanded its 5G service to two more cities and access throughout NYC.
Beginning today, Verizon’s 5G network is now supported by New York City, Panama City, Florida, and Boise, Idaho. These cities join the likes of Minneapolis, Denver, Phoenix, St. Paul, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Indianapaolis, Providence, and Washington, DC. This count makes it up to 13 US cities, which now support Verizon’s 5G network.
And with only three months left before 2019 is over, we can expect Verizon to be busy at expanding its 5G service. Ever since, Big Red has been ambitious at aiming for launching its 5G network at “more than 30” cities before the end of the year.
Unfortunately, Verizon has not gone into much detail on where its 5G Ultra Wideband signal can be experienced. But it did share some general areas on where crazy fast download speeds and low latency can be experienced in NYC, Boise, and Panama City.
