Verizon has just revealed a new rugged smartphone device that it will be adding to its roster of 5G-capable phones.
The newest device, called the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW, is the wireless network’s first 5G-enabled rugged device. It comes with a 5.45-inch FHD+ display and runs on a Snapdragon 765 processor with 6GB of RAM. There are a couple of cameras on the back: a 24-megapixel main sensor and a 16-megapixel wide sensor. In front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
It includes a 4,500mAh battery, NFC, fingerprint reader, and 5G connectivity. As a durable device, it comes with military durability, IP, and Haz-Loc ratings.
Right now, there is no word on pricing and availability.
