By launching four new products, Samsung certainly made the most of its opportunity at the 2014 Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) trade show held in Berlin. One of the new products they launched is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the follow-up to the Note 3, which the South Korea-based mobile manufacturing company unveiled twelve months ago.
Without dwelling too much on the new smartphone's specifications, Samsung showed a bit more enthusiasm in expounding on the Note 4's features, namely its 176-gram weight, its 8.5-mm thickness, and its LTE category 6 capability.
More than a year ago, Samsung introduced a prototype of a smartphone that featured a curved screen which wraps around the right-handed area. Called Youm, that prototype eventually would give way to another curved-screen Samsung handset -- the Galaxy Note Edge, which is expected to be released this fall.
The rivalry between wireless phone makers Apple and Samsung is stronger than ever, and as a result, September will be a huge month for smart phone enthusiast. As stated in our previous blog, Apple is planning to announce their newest phone, the iPhone 6, on September 9th. Seemingly in an effort to take the wind out of Apple’s sails, the South Korean tech giant has sent out invitations to its "Unpacked 2014," where multiple sources have confirmed the release of the Galaxy Note 4. Samsung will be making their big announcement simultaneously in 3 cities: Berlin, Beijing, and New York.
