You can also enjoy unlimited text messaging from the United States to 38 countries. If you opt for AutoPay, you’ll save $5 per month.

If you want to turn your mobile into a WiFi hotspot, the cost is just $5 per month for each line. If you add lines to your plan, you may be eligible for a Friends and Family discount of $5 per month.

With this plan, you can make unlimited calls to Canada from the U.S. and to the U.S. from Canada. You can use the LTE data allowance while in Canada without paying anything extra. You’ll also have access to your plan’s Uncarrier features, which includes Data Stash and Music Freedom. Once you’ve reached the LTE limit, you’ll have unlimited 2G data. As a T-Mobile ONE plan member, you’ll also be able to receive an unlimited amount of unthrottled data as well as enjoy unlimited global texting in over 140 destinations. Plus, you’ll get reduced calling rates to and from a number of countries.

If you’re not on the T-Mobile ONE plan but are instead of an older post-paid T-Mobile plan, you can add Mobile Without Borders for just $10 per month for each line.

The Verizon TravelPass will let you roam when in Canada for just $2 each day. An additional 65 countries are supported for just $10 per day. The pass includes your normal domestic plan inclusions, like data, talk and text. If you’re in Canada, $2 will be charged every 24-hour period. Note that you’ll only be charged for the days that you use the plan’s inclusions, like when you make or receive a call, use text messaging or use data. Note that if you go over the data limit on your plan, you’ll see both roaming and overage charges on your bill.

Virgin Mobile

Note that there is not an international roaming option with these plans.
