HTC Amaze Review

Wirefly Learn » Android Phones » Android Phone Reviews

The HTC Amaze is a powerful new phone that is packed with features, including what is possibly the most competent camera in any cell phone. Boasting a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of processor RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and network connection speeds up to 42 Mbps, the HTC Amaze is at the pointy end of the cutting edge. These state-of-the-art features are bolstered by the Amaze’s large battery (1730 mAh) and its sharp 540×960-pixel 4.3-inch display.

In this video, Wirefly’s Bob Kovacs does a full review of the HTC Amaze, including demonstrating its camera features and showing how the phone performs on standard benchmark tests. Click on the video window to the right to get all the details.

  • I am happy to see that finally someone can get it right and release a smart phone with an up to date version of Android, even if it has terrible battery life. The HTC Amaze is great, especially since it comes with Android version 2.3 and a dual core processor. I am excited to get this phone, especially since I recently got my employee Sling adapter from DISH Network. With the Sling adapter, I can stream live and recorded TV to my Android phone everywhere I have 3G coverage or WiFi.
