The Kyocera Echo is an unusual phone. Running Android 2.2, the Echo folds out from a “candy-bar” format into something that resembles a tablet. This unique phone therefore operates just a little differently than other Android phones.

In this review, Wirefly takes a look at the Kyocera Echo’s interface for texting, as well as demonstrating VueCue, an Echo-specific app that lets you organize YouTube videos for consecutive playback. But what’s it like to play games on the Kyocera Echo? A couple of popular games are also demonstrated in this review. Click on the window to the right to see what makes the Kyocera Echo so different.
