Rumors have been flying for months about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon Wireless, particularly about the phone carrying “Ice Cream Sandwich,” the latest version of the Android operating system. Then, suddenly, it was here and people wanted to know what the Galaxy Nexus looked like and what came with it. It was time for an unboxing.

In this video, Wirefly’s Bob Kovacs opens the standard retail package for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and shows what comes in the box. He also inserts the phone’s LTE micro-SIM card and battery, and fires up the Galaxy Nexus. Click on the video window to the right to get all the details.
