As smartphones become increasingly popular, manufacturers are ramping up their product lines with an array of phones to fill just about any niche. One such manufacturer is LG, which now has several high-performance phones. The new LG Revolution will run on Verizon Wireless’ LTE 4G network and it has features that will allow it to go head-to-head with any other phone in the industry, including the new HTC ThunderBolt. How will the the LG Revolution compare vs. the HTC ThunderBolt, which will also run on Verizon’s LTE Network? Both the Revolution and the ThunderBolt have big (4.3-inch) and bright screens, as well as data speed that will make watching videos a reasonable activity. Key Differences

  • Display: The LG Revolution will have a 4.3-inch LCD display, the same as the HTC ThunderBolt. Both screens have 480 x 800-pixel resolution and provide lots of space for an on-screen virtual keyboard.
  • Operating system: Both the LG Revolution and the HTC ThunderBolt will run Android 2.2, a fast and stable operating system.
  • Processor and RAM: Both the LG Revolution and the HTC ThunderBolt will have a 1GHz second-generation single-core processors. The Revolution will have 512MB of processor RAM and the HTC ThunderBolt will have 768MB of RAM.
  • Keyboard: Both the LG Revolution and the HTC ThunderBolt have on-screen virtual QWERTY keyboards. Neither has an actual physical keyboard.
