As with most carriers in the country, AT&T carries various plans for your business. In its website, the company has carefully divided them into two major categories: Voice plans and Data plans for business. Know what's right for your business in the discussion below.

Business Wireless Voice Plans

AT&T's Wireless Voice Plans are categorized into two: the Nation plans and Business Pooled Nation.

In Nation plans, business users don't have to worry about extra long distance charges when calling from one city to another. As the company describes it, "Think of an entire country as your calling region." What this means basically is that there is no such thing as national calling.

AT&T's national plan is quite heavy on the budget. It ranges from $40 for 450 minutes worth of calls per month, up to $200 for 6000 minutes. You have the option to get unlimited calls on weekends and nights if you get a plan that $60 and higher and you also have to pay an activation fee of $40.

In Business Pooled Nation plans, there are also no charges for long distance calls. Only, your minutes are shared among other users in the same account you're in. This plan is available to business users who have subscribed to AT&T's national enterprise agreements for Corporate Responsibility Users.

What's good about the Business Pooled Nation plan is that it already includes unlimited night and weekend calls, even if you choose the lowest tier that starts at $50. With $50, you get to have 450 minutes worth of callers. 6000 minutes cost $205. A one-time activation fee of $40 also needs to be paid first.

Business Mobile Data Plans

AT&T claims to have the most extensive data network in the U.S., and it has the most cell sites among America's mobile phone carriers. However, it still depends on where you are in the states if you want to get the strongest internet connection for your mobile phone.

Business data plans are commonly bought along with AT&T's voice plans. Business users can either pick between Mobile Share Data for Business Plans or Mobile Share Advantage plans for business. The first one is created for devices that don't want a voice plan but want data, while the latter gets all of AT&T's goods for any type of wireless gadget.

What's good about AT&T's data plans is that you won't be getting any overcharges, since the company will change your speed once you've reached your threshold. You can share the data you have with colleagues, with AT&T offering this service to up to 25 phones and other wireless devices.

If any data is left unused, this will be carried over to the next month. If you choose a plan that gives 10GB or higher per month, you get to have unlimited texts and calls on all lines, with no roaming or long distance charges as well.

Mobile Share Advantage

AT&T has seen success with its Mobile Share Advantage plan, which offers data and unlimited calls and texts for 10 devices and more. What users have to remember, however, is that business plans don't offer unlimited data. You get amazing speeds for video or audio streaming, seamless app navigation, and other online activities but it'll have to be within your available data amount.

1 GB is currently at $30, 6 GB is at $60, 10 GB is at $80, and 25 GB is at $110 per month.

Mobile Share Data for Business

This option is a whole lot cheaper, considering it doesn't come with any voice or text plans; it's al data and nothing more. Your $30 is worth 4 GB, $60 gets 10 GB, and 30 GB a month costs $185. Your data volume can be increased, but you'll have to pay $15 per 1 GB.

You may hear AT&T and other cell phone carriers advertise "unlimited data" plans, but in America, there is no such thing. Companies will try their best to give you the most data volume they can offer, but in the end, fair usage is their priority.

With AT&T, speeds will slow down if your data has already been capped. So if you bought 10 GB and had used all of it within a month, you're reduced to 2G speeds. The same goes for any other cell phone carrier.

AT&T's individual cell phone plans are definitely cheaper, but its business plans may cost more if compared to Verizon or Sprint. Consumer reports say AT&T's network is more reliable than T-Mobile too, so if you have extra cash to spare to make your team more connected and offer them more convenience, you might seat well with AT&T.
