About this Cell Phone Plan

The T-Mobile Magenta Plan is cell phone plan meant for individuals or families and offered by T-Mobile. The plan offers customers unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited 4G LTE data (which may be slowed after 100GB of usage per month). The T-Mobile Magenta Plan is a no contract plan.

The T-Mobile Magenta Plan includes:

• Unlimited calls to and from the United States, Canada, and Mexico
• Unlimited data and texting both in the United States and internationally in over 200 countries worldwide
• Unlimited data in the United States and internationally in over 200 countries worldwide (4G LTE data available in the United States, Mexico, and Canada)
• Video streamed at DVD quality (480p)
• Free Netflix subscription if your account has 2 or more lines

Unlimited Mobile Hotspot

This plan includes 3GB of 4G LTE mobile hot spot, then unlimited mobile hotspot at 3G speeds.

T-Mobile Magenta for Family

This plan is great for an individual, but it's also great for families. Each line on the account gets unlimited talk, text, and data.

• Line 1: $70 per month with AutoPay
• Line 2: $50 per month with AutoPay
• Line 3 to 8: $20 per month with AutoPay

Add $5 per month per line if AutoPay is not turned on.

Phone Options

There are several options for customers to bring their own phone or purchase a phone from T-Mobile for this plan:

• Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP). Customers can bring their own T-Mobile/GSM compatible phone, as long as it is unlocked.
• Buy a Phone Outright. Customers can buy a new or used phone from T-Mobile with one upfront payment.
• Monthly Installments. Customers can pay off their phone over 24 months with an equipment installment plan (credit check required, only available to well-qualified buyers). In some cases, a down payment may be required. If the customer cancels wireless service, then the remaining balance on the phone becomes due. 0% APR O.A.C. for well-qualified buyers, credit check required. Plus taxes and fees. Qualifying service required.

Protection 360

T-Mobile offers a program called Protection 360 that offers phone benefits and protection. The pricing for this service ranges from $7 to $15 per month, depending on the tier of your device. Protection 360 provides coverage for: accidental damage, phone not working, JUMP! upgrades, AppleCare, screen protectors, McAfee Security, and tips and support.

T-Mobile JUMP!

T-Mobile offers a program called JUMP! that allows customers to upgrade to a new smartphone whenever they want with no limits on upgrades and no waiting periods. JUMP! is optional and costs either $9 or $12 per month based on the 'Tier' of the customer's phone. Customers can upgrade at anytime after they are enrolled by paying 50% of their device cost to become eligible for upgrades and trade in, and then purchasing a new device with monthly installments at the same pricing as a new customer would. JUMP! also includes Premium Handset Protection and Mobile Security.

T-Mobile JUMP! On Demand

T-Mobile also offers a leasing program called JUMP! On Demand that allows customers to upgrade to a new smartphone once every 30 days. Customers can upgrade for $0 down and pay no sales tax if they have qualifying credit, and then pay for the phone over monthly payments after that. To upgrade, customers just need to bring in their current phone, demonstrate that it still in good working condition, and then get their new phone. If the customer cancels their plan, the remaining balance becomes due and the working device must be returned.

When customers pay on-time for 12 consecutive months, they can get a new device for $0 down, without a credit check.
