It seems that AT&T and T-Mobile are not the only wireless carriers offering rollover data schemes. C Spire Wireless actually did it earlier in November of last year when it introduced rollover data on three new plans.
But now, the carrier has announced that it will be making its rollover data shareable between multiple lines on the one plan. C Spire Wireless will be making the new shareable rolling data available at no additional cost on its 10 gigabyte, 15 gigabyte, and 30 gigabyte shared data plans starting on January 19th.
With C Spire's shareable rollover data scheme, subscribers not only get to roll over unused monthly data from one billing cycle to the next one, they also get to share the data they saved between all users on the plan.
Furthermore, C Spire's rollover data plan will not expire at the end of the month (unlike AT&T's plan). This means that users or user groups can accumulate unused data and keep it for as long as they want. In AT&T's scheme, if you do not use up the data you saved for the next billing cycle, you are going to lose it.
However, C Spire Wireless will only let subscribers save rollover data up to the amount that is included in their monthly plan. For instance, if a subscriber is under a 10 gigabyte shared plan, he can only keep a maximum of 10 gigabytes of rollover data at a time.
For comparison, in T-Mobile's Data Stash plan, the unused data you save will expire after 12 months. But you will never have to worry about how much data you can save because there is no limit.
If ever subscribers of C Spire do use up all their data allotment in a month, they are given the option of purchasing a Data Top Up Pass. The good news is that they can also roll over the Top Up data onto the next month. Data Top Up Passes are priced at $10 (500 megabytes), $15 (1 gigabyte), and $45 (3 gigabytes), with the data shareable between multiple users on the same plan.
On top of all that, C Spire Wireless also offers free tethering on all shared and rollover plans. When users reach 80 percent of their monthly included data use, they will receive a notification.
Subscribers who are under any eligible shared data plan will automatically be granted with additional rolling data on their accounts completely free of charge by late January of this year.
