There is no shortage of email clients nowadays -- there is Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and Mailbox. But if you want to manage your emails more easily, you might want to check out Spark. Brought by the same crew who developed Readdle, Spark lets users sort their email messages into three basic groupings -- important notes, pins (starred email messages), and a third section for all of the rest. It can be used with the Apple Watch, too, which makes email management possible via the wrist.
Spark features a card-based interface that displays important messages from each of your email accounts, and then shows a list of pinned emails right after. Just beneath the app fold, all the other email messages that are not deemed important or starred are kept chronologically.
Cards can be deleted with just a single swipe, so if you need to wipe out hundreds of emails in one go, instead of ticking each message intended for deletion, you can just clear out the card and all the emails in it. The great thing about it is that users can personalize the arrangement of the cards, even customize how they can be swiped.
Like other email clients, Spark also has a search functionality that allows users to browse through old emails by using email addresses and even email text as search parameters. Plus, the built in integration with other platforms such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and Pocket does not hurt.
Those who want automatic read receipts in their email clients will be delighted to know that Spark employs this functionality. This email app offers short preset auto replies, but you can also personalize according to the type of email messages you receive.
People who are used to the email clients they are using may not be willing to readily adapt yet another new email client. As far as comfort level goes, these users may already be used to the dynamics of their current email clients. But for those who find email message management a chore, and are looking for a solution to speeding up the process of cleaning inboxes, Spark could be right up their alley. It is basically a simplified approach to email message management, and in this fast paced age, having a quick and easy way to sort out your mailbox could really be an advantage.
