With recent news of LG’s flagship phablet, the V30, set to officially launch through the Big Four carriers on October 5th, Sprint has taken the opportunity to announce that the LG V30 Plus variant will be launching exclusively through its stores and its official website a little more than a week later (specifically on October 13th). For those not familiar with the LG V30 Plus, it is basically a souped up version of the regular V30. It promises two times the usual built in storage capacity (at a generous 128 gigabytes), and delivers a more enhanced audio quality and video watching experience (more on this later).
As mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the LG V30 Plus will start to become available in all of Sprint’s outlets, as well as from its official online store or by dialing 1-800-SPRINT1 beginning on October 13th. By way of Sprint Flex, the phablet is priced at $38 a month, with zero down payment. For new sign ups, they can enjoy savings of $30 if they decide to buy online, while current subscribers of the carrier can save the same amount if they opt to upgrade online.
Sprint is also introducing a new limited time only special offer. In this deal, new subscribers and those upgrading can purchase the LG V30 Plus via Sprint Flex, and then get second lease, free of charge. In other words, they get a couple of devices at only $38 a month. Moreover, as included in a countrywide promotional deal for Google’s Daydream, those who buy the V30 Plus will also be getting a Daydream View virtual reality headset, plus a Top VR Content Bundle.
Going back to the LG V30 Plus’ enhanced audio capabilities -- the device is fitted with a Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter), which produces a far better audio experience. Also, users can take full advantage of digital filters in managing the pre- and post-ringing of the impulse response music. Another thing that sets the V30 Plus apart from the regular V30 is the fact that it ships with LG QuadPlay earbuds. Furthermore, these earbuds make use of Quad Layer Speaker Technology in generating high fidelity sounds.
Connectivity wise, the LG V30 Plus has support for High Performance User Equipment (HPUE), which allows for improved wireless coverage, expanded capacity, and faster connection speeds when used on Sprint’s network.
