You may have already heard of Sprint’s $75 Unlimited Hi-Speed plan. Among unlimited data plans offered by the Big Four (Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint), Sprint’s unlimited deal may be the cheapest. But customers can actually enjoy even more savings if they avail of Sprint’s offer at Best Buy.
Based on the latest emails from the retail giant to customers, the Sprint Best Buy One Plan (made available in-store only) costs only $70 a month, and already comes with unlimited voice calls, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited high speed data for a single line of service. In other words, this plan features all the perks present in Sprint’s $75 Unlimited Hi-Speed plan, but costs $5 less. For some, $5 savings may not be that much, but for mobile users who are paying off their handset over a period of a couple of years, that is equivalent to savings of $120, which then can make full use of if they decide to get a new device.
The Sprint Best Buy One Plan is made available exclusively to mobile users who are purchasing a handset by way of Sprint Lease over a period of 18 or 24 months. Smartphones covered in this deal include Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and Galaxy Note 5, as well as Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices.
Through Best Buy, lease fees begin at $26.39 a month (for the 16 gigabyte edition of the iPhone 6s), and customers get to grab a brand new handset and enjoy access to unlimited LTE data at the same time without spending more than a hundred bucks on a monthly basis. But it should be noted that by signing up for Sprint Lease, the customer does not technically own the device at the end of his 18 or 24 month lease contract, unless of course he decided to pay additional cash to buy out the handset.
All signs indicate that the Sprint Best Buy One Plan does not appear to be available with the usual Sprint Easy Pay two year payment plan, or with handsets purchased at full retail price or on contract. In other words, customers who are looking for a plan that offers unlimited data may only have limited purchase options for a new device, that is compared to other plans currently made available by Sprint.
