According to the wireless network, they will be making their low-band 5G network live in 13 cities. With the new addition, AT&T’s 5G network will be available in 32 markets and has coverage for 50 million people.
The cities included in this week’s list include the following:
California: Bakersfield, Modesto, Oxnard, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara
Massachusetts: Boston, New Bedford
Missouri: St. Louis
New Jersey: Atlantic City
The goal of the wireless carrier is to expand its low-band 5G network nationwide before the first half of the year is over.
In addition to the 13 cities mentioned, AT&T will soon be deploying 5G+, a millimeter wave-based 5G network in parts of 35 cities. Unfortunately, this will only be available to business subscribers.
