AT&T has recently partnered with Walmart to make internet access more accessible to people who are struggling. With the partnership, they are able to offer AT&T Prepaid and Cricket Wireless home internet and wireless plans for little or no cost.
This offer is available under the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program that was recently launched by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to help families who can’t afford internet service during this health crisis. Through this program, eligible customers can get a temporary benefit of up to $50/month on home internet or wireless service. Meanwhile, eligible households in Tribal lands may receive up to $75/month.
You will need to complete your EBB enrollment with either AT&T Prepaid or Cricket Wireless.
The plans being offered by the two prepaid brands include the following options:
AT&T Prepaid Data Plan for Tablets & Hotspots - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 100GB of high-speed data and 5G access for $5/month after EBB (regularly $55/month)
AT&T Prepaid 15GB plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 15GB of high-speed data for free with EBB (regularly $40/month)
AT&T Prepaid Unlimited plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data after $15 AutoPay discount and EBB (regularly $65/month)
AT&T Prepaid Unlimited Plus plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data, 10GB mobile hotspot, 100GB Cloud storage, and 5G access for $10/month after $15 AutoPay discount and EBB (regularly $75/month)
Cricket Wireless Simply Data plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, 100GB of high-speed data and 5G access for $5/month after EBB (regularly $55/month)
Cricket Wireless Core plan - comes with unlimited calls and data for $5/month after EBB (regularly $55/month); free for single line customers with AutoPay credit
Cricket Wireless More plan - comes with unlimited calls and data, 15GB mobile hotspot, 150GB Cloud storage, 5G access for $10/month after EBB (regularly $60/month); $5/month for single line customers with AutoPay credit
