Comcast is expanding its customer base to include business customers.
Earlier today, the company revealed that they are now accepting Comcast Business Mobile customers under its Verizon MVNO service. They offer 4G and 5G coverage with a number of data options either by-the-gig or unlimited data.
According to the company, its by-the-gig option is ”well-suited for teams in locations with more Wi-Fi and less cellular usage-- such as in offices and retail stores.”
Plan options start at $15 per month for 1 gig (by-the-gig) and $45 per month for 1 line (unlimited data). There is an option for customers to mix and match plans across up to 10 lines.
Comcast puts a 20GB/month cap on its business users. This means that once you reach this threshold before the month is over, your speed may get reduced.
Just like its Xfinity Mobile service, Comcast Business Mobile requires customers to be fixed-line internet subscribers before getting MVNO service.
