Pixel 7 users have reason to celebrate since they finally have dual eSIM functionality. Even though the feature has been available on the device for a while, it wasn’t usable in the past. And now, Google is getting ready to roll out the feature with a catch.
Unfortunately, you’ll need to enroll your device under the Android Beta Program to be able to enjoy the feature for now. The announcement was first seen by a Reddit user and confirmed by Mishaal Rahman of Esper via a screenshot. For users who enroll in the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2 update, dual eSIM function is now enabled.
Apart from the Android Beta Program, there’s no word yet on when the feature will be available. It’s expected that Google will roll out the functionality in a stable release that could be released in the next Pixel Feature Drop in March.
