For someone who frequently needs protection on a phone, here’s some good news for you. Zagg has just unveiled a new “phone protection plan.” The good news is that they don’t cost as much as the plans offered by Apple and Samsung.
Instead of paying $149-$199 for AppleCare+, you only have to pay $99 annually. There is also a $49 deductible for repairs. The plan covers most hardware failures, including accidental damage from liquids or drops.
You can only make a claim on accidental damages two times every 12 months. The plan also comes with one battery replacement per device.
While Zagg has mostly been focused on manufacturing accessories such as chargers and cases, they have partnered with Safeware to produce this phone protection plan.
