If you’re still using either the Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL, here’s some bad news for you: you won’t be receiving any new software updates anymore.
The discovery was made through Google’s recent February 2022 Android security patch rollout for Pixel phones. As discovered by 9to5Google, the two Pixel models are no longer included in the list of devices to get the update.
Google also confirmed that these two phones will no longer receive any software updates. But this is already expected, especially since Google already fulfilled its promise to release a software update to these two devices back in October. They also released one last update for these phones in November before today’s announcement.
If you’re still using either device, it may be best to consider updating to a newer phone. But if you don’t mind not receiving any software updates from now on, you can continue to use these phones.
