Last month, Samsung started rolling out its Android 12-based update to One UI 4. But shortly after the release, it was discovered that the update contained bugs and caused soft bricks on some phones. Some of the complaints included poor performance, bugs, and screen flickers. Last week, however, the update encountered an issue with Google Pay. As such, Samsung decided to put a pause on releasing the update.
Now that the South Korean manufacturer has fixed the update, it should soon be ready for the more flagship models, such as the Galaxy S21 models, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Android 12 has also been rocky for some other smartphone manufacturers. Some of the manufacturers that encountered issues with the update include OnePlus and Google. Hopefully, the update will be ready to roll out soon.
Once the update rolls out, users will be able to enjoy its new features. For starters, the update was visually redesigned from Google’s Material You design. It also comes with a new keyboard.
