If you’re still waiting for the next Galaxy Note smartphone to be released by Samsung, we hate to break it to you: it’s not going to happen anymore. According to ET News, Samsung will stop producing the Galaxy Note 20 model this year. And the South Korean manufacturer doesn’t have any plans to release a new model in 2022.
Instead of releasing a new Galaxy Note flagship model, Samsung will likely be releasing the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This smartphone is said to have a Note-inspired design and with a dedicated stylus slot.
It looks like the decision to end the Note lineup is so the company can focus more on its foldable models, the Galaxy Z series. Ever since Samsung released the Z lineup, it has been gaining a lot of sales for the company.
The recent Z Fold3 model was three times as popular as its predecessor, the Fold2. Samsung hopes to sell 13 million of this model next year.
