Schok is the latest smartphone manufacturer to offer its devices in the US. They offer mid-range smartphones at budget prices.
The Texas-based company recently unveiled its new device, the Freedom Turbo XL. This device comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and memory expansion via a microSD card.
Camera-wise, the device has a 48-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. In front, there is a 24-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera has an RGB Halo lighting effect known as Schok mood control. This feature is unique to the device and acts like a flash for the rear camera.
Other features include 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, wireless charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 4,000mAh battery, and an IR blaster. Upon release, it runs Android 10 OS, which is the only downside for a reasonably-priced phone in today’s time.
Schok sells this phone at $169. For a limited time period, the first 1000 buyers will get an accessories bundle for $70. This bundle includes the following items:
