Spectrum Mobile made some changes to two of its unlimited plans. These two plans now come with more monthly data allotment.
Originally, the Verizon MVNO’s base unlimited plan costs $29.99 per month and only includes 10GB of high-speed data per month. After the announcement, this plan now includes 30GB of high-speed data per month.
The other plan that got a data boost is the $39.99 per month Unlimited Plus plan, which now comes with 50GB per month instead of 30GB per month.
Unfortunately, existing customers who had an unlimited plan before September 8 will need to wait up to 60 days to get the increased data allotment. New customers, on the other hand, will immediately get the new data allotment.
Another change is the mobile hotspot allowance allotment on the $39.99 per month Unlimited Plus plan. Now, the plan comes with up to 10GB of full-speed hotspot data. It previously only included 5GB hotspot data. Lastly, this plan also now comes with 5GB of roaming data while traveling in Mexico or Canada.
If you are using this plan, these new changes will positively improve the way you use your data.
