A couple of weeks ago, T-Mobile released its Android Pie update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. Now, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is getting its own piece of Pie.
Earlier today, T-Mobile updated its support page for the Galaxy Note 9 to show that updates to the latest Android OS version will start rolling out to the public. This update has a size of 1671.6MB and is called version N960U1UEU1CSB3.
Apart from getting updated to Android 9.0 Pie, Galaxy Note 9 users can enjoy the new Samsung One UI interface. This update comes with a refreshed look complete with interactive elements that have been moved downwards for easier reach. Considering that the Note 9 has a 6.4-inch screen, this update will definitely make things better for its users. Additionally, Samsung has included a night mode to the UI.
T-Mobile has also included a new e911 call flow, BYOD update, and a compass calibration fix with the newly released OS update.
If you are using the Galaxy Note 9, the update may not be available on your device right away. It could take a few days before the update reaches your phone. You can always do a manual check if the update is ready for your device by tapping into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
