Tello Mobile now offers full support for iPhones.
The T-Mobile MVNO recently switched over to the GSM network and are currently migrating its customers. And now that the migration to the new network is complete, Tello is bringing its service to iPhone users.
During the transition, Tello encountered a few issues. But in a blog post, the MVNO reveals that they have fixed these bugs. Affected customers can also get a free replacement SIM at their disposal. If you recently received an email from Tello about a new SIM, you can head over to your My Tello account and follow the steps to activate your free replacement SIM. This will let you enjoy features such as Wi-Fi Calling, Group MMS, and Visual Voicemail.
With the new Tello network, you’ll be able to enjoy the full VoLTE features on your iPhone device. After receiving a replacement SIM, your phone’s network will automatically switch to Tello. You’ll be able to enjoy using VoLTE, mobile hotspot, and tethering on your iPhone. Visual Voicemail is supported, along with MMS on iOS devices. It’s also very easy to enable MMS on your iPhone. But in most cases, this is already enabled.
Tello has also added Wi-Fi calling feature on iOS devices. If you’re in an area with unreliable coverage, you can switch to Wi-Fi network to make and receive calls and text messages. Just switch to a nearby Wi-Fi hotspot so you can continue to use your device.
