Users Can Now Edit RCS Messages

For years, those using RCS to send messages have been doing their best to avoid making mistakes when typing. This is because they didn’t have an option to edit their message. Thankfully, Google has now made this possible for RCS messages. 

With this functionality in place, users can now edit their messages within the last 15 minutes. The recipient can see the original message by simply tapping and holding the message balloon. 

Unfortunately, the feature will only be available once participants in the chat have enabled it. So if you are sending a group message on the app, everyone in the group needs to have the feature enabled. The feature is also only applicable to RCS messages.
