According to Verizon’s data, one out of every six customers tend to lose or damage their phones. There are even some who get it stolen. This is why Verizon has launched its Verizon Mobile Protect plan, which aims to protect device users.
Thankfully, Big Red has made some changes to this plan. With the new changes in place, device owners get insurance and digital security.
Starting today, customers under the Verizon Mobile Protect plan can get a $0 deductible on screen replacements. This comes as a welcomed change since Big Red previously charged a $29 deductible fee for changing the display screen.
Another change that customers get to experience is that damage replacement deductible has been lowered to $99. This previously cost up to $249.
Verizon Mobile Protect plan costs $17 per month for one device. If you need to register three lines for coverage, the plan goes up to $60 per month. Still, this is a good price for users with butterfingers. The plan covers loss, theft, and liquid damage. They also provide data recovery in the plan.
