Whenever you buy a new device from Verizon, you are usually given a 30-day period if you want to add insurance to it. But there are some very rare instances when Verizon opens insurance enrollment again so that people can opt to sign up for protection after the 30-day period is over.
Today, Verizon is opening its enrollment for device insurance once again. If you decide to take advantage of today’s offer, you have a few options for insuring your phone:
Total Mobile Protection allows you to protect your device against loss, theft, damage, 24/7 claims, and post-warranty defects. It comes with a Tech Coach service for one-tap access on assistance on troubleshooting error messages and transferring content.
This option costs $15 per month.
Apart from including the features of Total Mobile Protection, Verizon Protect comes with Digital Secure, which is a host of privacy and security tools such as anti-malware and anti-virus. It also comes with Verizon’s spam call detection service called Call Filter.
This option costs $17 per month.
Total Equipment Coverage protects your device against loss, damage, theft, and post-warranty defects. It also comes with unlimited cracked screen repair for eligible devices.
This option costs $11 per device per month.
Wireless Phone Protection comes complete with the features of Total Equipment Coverage, but without post-warranty defects and battery replacement.
This costs $6.85 per device per month
Extended Warranty is the most affordable option, which only covers post-warranty defects (including battery replacement).
This costs $5 per device per month.
