Earlier this month, Google unveiled some of the improvements it plans to do on mobile chat. One of those improvements is the ability to quote a preview message on Google Chat. This feature should be available on the phones of users before the month ends.
By enabling this feature on a device, users have the option to quote an earlier message and send it as a reply in a direct message, space, or group message.
This feature is already available on different messaging apps. But unfortunately, it is not yet available on Google Chat. Google says that this quote reply feature will be rolling out to Google Chat users in the coming couple of weeks.
The feature will also be available to all Google Workspace users, legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers. Those who are using a personal Google Account can also expect to receive this feature when it rolls out.
