Helium Mobile says it is being acquired by Noble Mobile, a newer wireless company founded in 2025 by Andrew Yang. For current Helium Mobile customers, the main takeaway is simple: service is expected to stay the same, customers can keep their phone numbers, and there is no action required right now.
According to Helium Mobile’s official announcement, Noble Mobile will keep Helium Mobile subscribers on the same nationwide 5G service they already use while also continuing support for the Helium Network. The company also said Noble Mobile customers will gain access to added coverage from that people-powered network.
Helium framed the deal as a way to hand off the consumer wireless side of the business while it focuses more heavily on the Helium Network itself. In its announcement, the company said the transition was designed to be seamless and that Helium Mobile branding, app access, website access, support, token balances, and Cloud Points will all remain in place for now.
Noble Mobile describes itself as a carrier focused on lower-cost wireless service, and both companies are pitching the acquisition as a move centered on affordability. Helium Network is supported by 137,000 user-run Hotspots across the US and already helps serve millions of subscribers each day through Helium Mobile and other major carriers.
The bottom line for Helium Mobile customers is that this looks more like a behind-the-scenes ownership change than an immediate shake-up. At least for now, the promise is familiar coverage, the same number, the same app, and no scramble to switch plans or phones.
