Lycamobile has just made an important change to one of the wireless plans it offers.
As revealed in a report, the T-Mobile MVNO sent out a notification to its subscribers informing them of the new plan change. The change apparently affects the $33/month plan, which has received a price reduction and an increase in data allotment.
With the new change in place, the plan now costs $25/month and includes unlimited calls and texts to over 75 countries, and 15GB of high-speed data before throttling. It previously only included 10GB of high-speed data. Taxes have not yet been included in the price of the plan though so it should affect the overall price of the plan.
This isn’t the first time the MVNO made adjustments to the plan. Early this year, it also received data increase and price deduction. It formerly cost $35/month and came with just 7GB of high-speed data.
The other features you can find in this plan include $2.50 international calling credit to call countries not included in the 75+ free, mobile hotspot, international talk and text roaming via international credits, 300 free calling minutes to mobile phones in Mali under the Soltelma network and Senegal on the Orange network.
In addition to the $25/month plan, Lycamobile has updated some of its other plans. Its $29 or higher plans now include unlimited minutes to mobile customers in the Philippines using Smart Communications network.
If you open the plan on their website, you might not see the new $25/month plan rate yet so it might surprise you. But once you check out, the $33/month rate will go down to the new price.
