It looks like T-Mobile and SpaceX have something up their sleeves.
Earlier today, it was announced that the CEOs of the two companies will be joining together for a launch event slated for Thursday, August 25th 5 PM PT. The launch event will be streamed from SpaceX’s Starbase facility based in South Texas.
At this time of writing, details about the event have not yet been revealed. But as GeekWire believes, it will likely involve SpaceX’s Starlink satellite constellation. It’s possible that the launch could help boost T-Mo’s cellular network.
In a tweet, SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, promised that it will be “something special.”
