Google Pixel devices are always the first to get an Android OS and monthly security update. So it’s quite surprising to know that some Pixel users on T-Mobile’s network have been complaining about not getting an update for two months already.
These customers have turned to Reddit to voice out their frustrations. According to the posts, the issue seems to be affecting various Pixel models like the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and others. It also doesn’t matter if you have a carrier-locked or an unlocked device.
As shared on Reddit, some users were unable to get a security update for two months already. As for those who have, they had to reset their device to get the update to work. Neither scenario is ideal, which is why we’re hoping it gets addressed soon.
