AT&T is launching a new promo that should please subscribers with extensive data requirements. On a limited basis only, the carrier is offering twice the data monthly on specific Mobile Share plans at no extra cost.
Beginning September 29th of this year, users can now experience two times as much data on selected Mobile Share plans, particularly the 15 gigabyte, 20 gigabyte, 30 gigabyte, 40 gigabyte, and 50 gigabyte plans. This promo will be made available to both new subscribers and current AT&T customers who want to boost the data usage in their plans.
As mentioned earlier, there will be no extra costs despite the twofold boost in data. That means the pricing will remain as is, and will naturally still include unlimited calls, unlimited texting, and unlimited international messaging. For reference, see below for the new data inclusions:
On top of the monthly fees outlined above, subscribers will also be required to shell out a smartphone access fee for every line of service they connect to their plan. As for users who currently have smartphones on AT&T's Next early upgrade plan, they will need to pay $15.00 each month. Those with devices on a two-year agreement, they will have to pay $40.00 monthly.
The promo will be open until October 31st. However, subscribers who avail of the limited-time offer can enjoy the double data usage for as long as they want, provided that they keep their plans active and unchanged.
AT&T lets all subscribers under its Mobile Share plans to share their data usage on up to 10 lines of service. Aside from the double data offer, AT&T also continues to give a bonus of $100.00 bill credit to all new and current customers who open a new line of service with a new handset on AT&T Next.
A promo of this type will no doubt be appreciated not only by heavy data users but also for subscribers with families. As for those who are currently under a Mobile Share plan covered in this promo, to double your data usage, you will need to either contact AT&T's customer service, or visit the AT&T store nearest to your location in order to switch into the new promo plan.
