Strictly speaking, there is still over a couple of weeks to go before Black Friday arrives, but HTC has decided to launch its special offers early. This is clearly an effort by the Taiwanese phone maker to get a jump on the competition, and in the process, further fuel the excitement of consumers who can not wait for Thanksgiving weekend to start.
It may be a good idea to start with the company’s current flagship device. HTC is offering the HTC 10 smartphone for just $500, which not only is fifty bucks cheaper than the device’s normal price of $550 but also the lowest price ever for the handset. Much has been said about the void created by the failure of Samsung’s the Galaxy Note 7, but many agree that the HTC 10 would make for a cool alternative to the South Korean phone maker’s incendiary phablet, especially for those not keen on purchasing Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus or Google’s Pixel XL.
As for HTC’s previous flagship offering, 2015’s HTC One M9, it can now be bought for just $300. This handset’s regular price is $350. The Taiwan based mobile manufacturer is also offering another of its high profile smartphone releases, the HTC One A9, for just $275, down from its usual $320 price. Note that the HTC 10, the HTC One M9, and the HTC One A9 offered under these Black Friday deals are all unlocked devices, which means that consumers who end up buying them can choose whichever mobile operator they want to activate their HTC smartphone.
With regards to mobile accessories, HTC is offering the UA Band for just $79 (previously, this wristband was priced at $120). Also, cases for the HTC One M9 and the HTC One M8 are being offered for just $10. Another Black Friday offer from HTC is the RE Camera sold for only $75 (originally priced at $200). But this is kind of awkward because Amazon actually offers the action camera for just $60.
So how does one go about availing of HTC’s Black Friday deals? Bear in mind though that customers will not be allowed to enjoy access to the deals just by simply logging on to HTC’s official online store. What they need to do instead is to become a member of Team HTC. For those not familiar with this, it is an incentive program offered by the mobile giant in order to give its customers a wide range of perks. Once customers have signed up for Team HTC, they will get an email message within a 24 hour period. This email should provide a certain promo code that people can use in availing of HTC’s Black Friday deals, specifically during the checkout process.
HTC’s Black Friday deals are good until November 14th, so interested parties better sign up for Team HTC as soon as they can. For more deals, you can start comparing existing plans and phones from HTC at Wirefly now. You can also check out this other Black Friday related news.
