Last month, Comcast announced that it would be rolling out a new prepaid service called NOW. After debuting its trial last month, the company is now ready to launch its prepaid service.
Comcast will be launching two services powered by Xfinity network: NOW Internet and NOW Mobile. These are prepaid plans that include all-in pricing with no credit check and contracts.
This is a low-cost service that is more reliable than fixed wireless options. Comcast offers NOW Internet at these prices:
$30 per month: 100 Mbps
$45 per month: 200 Mbps
Either plan comes with unlimited data and a gateway device
NOW Mobile offers unlimited 5G data, talk, and text for $25 per line. Customers of this plan get access to more than 23 million Wi-Fi hotspots.
Right now, the rollout of these two services isn’t nationwide yet. Comcast has been testing them in select areas, such as Miami, Houston, and Hartford. The official rollout date across the country has not yet been announced but it is expected to be available in the coming weeks.
