We already basically know that LG’s newest flagship offering -- the G7 ThinQ -- will be formally unveiled on May 2nd. Considering that this date is still three weeks away, we will not know for sure until then what the G7 will bring to the table. But thanks to an exclusive report from Android Headlines, we should have a slight idea of what to expect.
According to leaked specifications from Android Headlines, LG’s upcoming G7 ThinQ smartphone should sport a pair of 16 megapixel cameras on the rear side. Fans of the South Korean mobile brand may remember that the G7’s predecessor, last year’s G6, had featured a dual camera configuration consisting of twin 13 megapixel sensors. This year, the G7’s double camera set up will include a standard camera (that comes with an f/1.6 aperture, plus 10 bit HDR compatibility in order to capture more vivid colors) and a wide angle lens (that offers a 107 degree field of view.
The G7 ThinQ’s camera specs are also expected to be complemented with loads of cool features like 3D camera stickers, Live Photo, and Portrait Mode, which has the ability to blur objects in the background to heighten the focus on the foreground subject. On the G7, the Portrait Mode will also be present on the device’s front facing camera. And then there’s the new version of Graphy -- the photo filter feature that first appeared in last year’s V30 phablet.
