Remember the Galaxy Note 8 buy one get one special offer that T-Mobile introduced around a couple of months ago? Well, that promotional deal unfortunately ended last October 17th. The third biggest wireless carrier in the United States, however, is offering a new Galaxy Note 8 deal, one that promises a very generous discount.
Indeed, the Uncarrier is selling Samsung’s current flagship phablet offering with a whopping $130 discount on its original pricing. In other words, interested parties can buy the device by paying a down payment of $100 and then completing payments of $30 every month for a period of a couple of years via T-Mobile’s equipment installment plan. That is equivalent to paying a total of $820.
On top of that, T-Mobile is also including a deal that will have Samsung give $200 back in Samsung Pay credit to customers who purchase a Galaxy handset from the major US wireless carrier. Moreover, the number one smartphone vendor in the world is also offering credit on its other flagship devices (the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus). Galaxy S8 buyers will get $50 in Samsung Pay credit, while Galaxy S8 Plus buyers will receive a hundred bucks, also in Samsung Pay credit. Note that this deal from Samsung will last only until November 2nd, so those looking to take advantage of the offer better hurry. As for the $130 discount deal on the Galaxy Note 8, T-Mobile has not revealed yet when the offer will end.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile also took the opportunity to debut a new offering called Unlimited Talk & Text Only. Quite literally, it is a plan that provides unlimited minutes of voice calls and unlimited text messaging, but zero data. This means that those who avail of this deal will not be able to connect to the mobile operator’s 4G LTE network or its 3G network.
T-Mobile’s new Unlimited Talk & Text Only option comes with a price of $25 for each line of service every month, with taxes and fees included. It bears noting though that the mobile operator has added some perks also present in its One unlimited data plan. For instance, the unlimited voice call minutes and unlimited text messaging also apply to Canada and Mexico. In addition to this, customers are able to text other countries from America with no additional charges.
