Apple is currently trying to offer LG phone owners to switch to iPhone or its other products. Especially since LG will be exiting the mobile phone business by the end of the month, Apple is not wasting any time in trying to get users to make the switch.
Just recently, Apple added four smartphone models from LG to its list of available iPhone trade-in devices. These four devices include the following:
LG G8 ThinQ - up to $70 gift card
LG V40 ThinQ - up to $65 gift card
LG V50 ThinQ 5G - up to $125 gift card
LG V60 ThinQ 5G - up to $180 gift card
If you own either of these phones, you can trade in your device and get an Apple gift card that you can use to purchase any of their products.
When you open Apple’s trade-in page, you will get to choose from the devices that are applicable for trading and what you can get in return. You will have to answer some questions, such as whether the phone is in good condition, if the buttons still work, or if the phone is in good shape. Once you have answered these questions, Apple will reveal the value of your device being traded in.
If you decide to push through with the trade, you will need to send your email and street address to Apple. You will then receive an envelope that you can use to send your device to Apple. Once Apple receives your device, it will determine whether or not its condition is the same as what you claimed it to be. You will then receive the gift card via email. You can use this gift card towards your purchase of any Apple product.
