AT&T has both good and bad news to its Internet Air plan customers. The wireless carrier revealed today that it will be expanding availability of the service. But unfortunately, an extra charge of up to $10 per month will be imposed for up to five Wi-Fi extenders.
This means that the $55 per month plan ($60 without Autopay) will now cost $65 per month. Subscribing to this plan will give you download speeds of up to 140Mbps. In times of network congestion, though, data speeds may temporarily be slowed down.
If you decide to sign up for this service, you will get an All-Fi Hub, which is a 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) receiver for wirelessly connecting your devices. This plan doesn’t have overage fees, annual contracts, or equipment costs.
As shared by The Verge, eligible customers with AT&T wireless service can get the Internet Air plan at $35 per month. For a list of all locations, you can visit this page.
