AT&T has made changes to its prepaid data-only plans. Among the changes include the addition of new plans, upgrading of some plans, and discontinuation of one plan.
One of the biggest changes that AT&T made to its prepaid data-only plan lineup was the discontinuation of the $25 data-only plan. Previously, AT&T offered a data-only plan with 3GB data every month for $25. But with today’s changes, AT&T will no longer offer this plan. Instead, customers will need to pay $300 in advance in order to enjoy 20GB of high-speed data/month for a whole year. This is equivalent to the $25/month plan but with higher high-speed data allocation. The plan also includes 5G data speeds.
In addition to removing one plan, AT&T has added a new $35 plan and made changes to the $50 and $75 plans. These are the new plan changes made by the carrier:
$35/month data-only plan - includes 15GB high-speed data (new plan)
$50/month data-only plan - includes 25GB high-speed data (was 10GB)
$75/month data-only plan - includes 40GB high-speed data (was 18GB)
Taxes and fees cost extra.
Right now, these new plan changes are not yet available online to new customers. But you can head over to an AT&T store to get your hands on one of these plans.
